New Zealand was host to the 2013 Down Under Sports Wrestling Tournament and included wrestlers from the USA, Australia and New Zealand. All three countries had gold medal winners and the USA won the final team dual tournament. The sportsmanship displayed was exceptional and the camaraderie between the boys from the various countries provided a positive experience for the athletes. The use of TrackWrestling allowed parents at home to follow the results of matches immediately.
The Australian Beach Wrestling Tournament was outstanding, as always, and everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Surfers Paradise Beach. The wrestlers love to run into the ocean at the conclusion of the competition to wash off the sand and cool off.
One official weigh-in is done before the first tournament using the USA Junior W-ght Classes: 98, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170 182, 195, 220, 285.
